Citizen Advisory Board Member
Mr. Walker is the owner and founder of WALK Studio, an architecture firm specializing in sustainable design, and serves as an adjunct professor at the University of Wisconsin Milwaukee School of Architecture and Planning.
He has worked on a variety of architectural and urban design projects nationally and internationally, including plans for Milwaukee’s near north side, Gary, Ind., Chicago State University, London’s Canary Wharf and Shanghai’s Chongoming Island. Mr. Walker earned a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Illinois-Urbana-Champaign in Planning Physical Urban Design and went on to earn a professional degree in Architecture, a Masters in Architecture, and a Masters in Urban Planning Policy at the University of Illinois-Chicago. He is an Associate in the American Institute of Architects (AIA) as well as the American Institute of Certified Planners (AICP).
