If you are going to the Chicago Auto Show at McCormick Place February 10 - 19, let Metra take you there. The Metra Electric Line has a station on site where in addition to regular service, trains will be making flag stops. If you are traveling from the east Loop or Michigan Avenue you can board at Millennium and Van Buren Stations; if traveling from the south suburbs, you can also ride the Metra Electric Line directly to the show.
Frequent and convenient CTA bus service to and from McCormick Place is available from our other three downtown stations. Just look for “to Auto Show McCormick Place” signs on buses and board at the following stations:
- Ogilvie Transportation Center - Board the southbound bus on Clinton at Madison.
- Chicago Union Station - Board the southbound bus on Clinton at Quincy or eastbound bus on Jackson at the river.
- LaSalle Street Station - Board the eastbound bus on Jackson at Financial Place.
On weekdays, special Auto Show buses will run every 12 minutes from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. and every 15-20 minutes from 2 p.m. to 8 p.m. On weekends, buses will run every 10 to 12 minutes from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. and every 15 minutes from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m.
