Elimination of Ticket-by-Internet program

Due to declining internet ticket sales, Metra is eliminating the Ticket-by-Internet program – which includes recurring orders and one-time sales of Monthly Passes and 10-Ride Tickets on its website. The last day to purchase a Monthly Pass (July) via this program will be June 20 and the last day to purchase a 10-Ride Ticket will be June 30. This action is part of a continuing effort by Metra to identify ways to reduce expenses. Please see alternate purchasing options here.

Metra and its rail service providers are not responsible for articles left on trains or at stations. Call the numbers below to inquire about lost items.

Lost tickets/refund policy

You can check with the Lost and Found offices if you think you lost your ticket on the train. Chances of recovering it are much greater if you wrote your name and contact information on the ticket.
 
No refund or replacement ticket will be issued for lost, destroyed or stolen One-Way and 10-Ride Tickets and Weekend and Monthly Passes. Refunds for unused Monthly Passes are available per the guidelines here.
