Elimination of Ticket-by-Internet program

Due to declining internet ticket sales, Metra is eliminating the Ticket-by-Internet program – which includes recurring orders and one-time sales of Monthly Passes and 10-Ride Tickets on its website. The last day to purchase a Monthly Pass (July) via this program will be June 20 and the last day to purchase a 10-Ride Ticket will be June 30. This action is part of a continuing effort by Metra to identify ways to reduce expenses. Please see alternate purchasing options here.

Paul A. Kisielius

Mr. Kisielius was named the Senior Division Director, General Administration in 2009. He joined Metra’s Materials Management staff in 1989 and has been at Metra for over 29 years. He previously served in various other positions in the Materials Management Department, including Materials Manager, Section Chief of Materials, and Department Head of Materials. Additionally, he has nine years of experience in the private sector before joining Metra in various materials management positions for several electronic manufacturing firms.

The Senior Division Director, General Administration supervises the Procurement Department, Professional Services/Contracts Department and the Materials Department (which includes Metra’s four storehouses). He supervises a staff of 50 contract and non-contract employees.

Mr. Kisielius was born in Chicago and has lived in Illinois most of his life. He earned an undergraduate degree from Western Illinois University in Business Administration in 1979, attended Washburn University School of Law, and he received his MBA in Operations Management from Loyola University in Chicago in 1985.
