Fresh produce, fragrant flowers and even honey, bread and cheese straight from their makers, farmers’ markets have all the ingredients to play on the senses.
The Chicago region is host to dozens of Farmers’ Markets located across the city and the suburbs. Markets are held in more than 20 neighborhoods throughout the city on Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Saturday and Sunday through the end of October. And it’s much the same in the suburbs with market sites either adjacent to or a short walk from many Metra stations.
