BNSF Belmont Station Closure
On Saturday, August 7, 2010 the BNSF Belmont Station will be closed and not available for passenger use in order to initiate the first phase of the construction of the new grade separation at Belmont Road. Track work in the area adjacent to the platforms requires that this facility be temporarily closed. Service at the Belmont Station facility will resume on Sunday, August 8, 2010 for train number 1302. We regret any inconvenience you experience as a result of this situation. Please utilize either the Lisle or Downers Grove/Main Street station facilities during this temporary closure.
Upcoming Belmont Closures
Due to ongoing construction at the Belmont station the following closures will be necessary to accommodate the work:
Beginning Wednesday, July 28, 2010 thru Thursday, August 12, 2010, the Belmont Road crossing will be closed to vehicular and pedestrian traffic.
Saturday, July 31, 2010, the south platform will be closed. Please board inbound and outbound trains from the north platform. Please listen to platform announcements.
