Metra to hold open houses on UP North bridge project, schedule changes 

Metra will be holding three open house forums over the next two weeks to provide Union Pacific North line riders with information about a major bridge reconstruction project that will require changes to the UP North schedule starting August 22. Read More

Major Improvements on the Union Pacific North Line 

Work will begin in August 2010 on a $185M bridge and retaining wall construction project on the Union Pacific North Line. A total of 22 bridges on the north side of Chicago will be replaced, with the construction split into two phases. Read More

Minor changes coming to BNSF schedule
