CTA is your connection to and from Union Station during weekday morning and evening rush periods. This shows CTA bus and rail connections and the first bus/last bus times between Union Station in the direction Metra customers are most likely to travel to and from Union Station. Some routes only operate mornings and evenings and most others operate daily, early morning through late evening, every 7 to 15 minutes. CTA FARE OPTIONS
Chicago Card®, Chicago Card Plus® and Transit Cards deduct full fares and transfers on CTA and Pace buses.

Chicago Card Full Fare: $1.75 (bus and rail); 1st Transfer: 25¢; 2nd Transfer: Free.

Transit Card Full Fare: $1.75 (bus), $2.00 (rail); 1st Transfer: 25¢; 2nd Transfer: Free.

Transfers must occur within the first two hours of the first ride. Up to seven full-fare customers can share a card.

Chicago Cards offer the convenience of quicker touch-and-go boarding, fare protection, a $2 bonus for every $20 added value and with Chicago Card Plus, online fare reloading.

Customers using Transit Cards on buses also pay $1.75.
