Metra The Way To Really Fly Day Trips by Train

Metra's Your Ticket To Fun!

header (56K) Aboard Metra, all tracks lead to fun in the City. But Metra's convenient service and flexible schedules also make us the smart choice to some of the Chicago area's more popular destinations, most are within walking distance from the train stations, others offer easy connecting service. Depending on the season, there's plenty of places to go and Metra can take you there.

Our 10-Ride ticket saves 15% over one-way fares and can be shared by people riding together. And the best deal coming and going is our $5 Weekend Pass. It's good for unlimited rides on all Metra lines all Saturday and Sunday, and with Family Fares, you can take children age 11 and under along for free* Tickets can be purchased at all downtown stations. The $5 Weekend Pass is also available on the train.
